Dear Jack,
In last quarterly meeting, it was updated that our company is expanding its business overseas and new office will be set-up in India. This is certainly a matter of pride for us as we are going to be a multinational company. I am writing this letter to express my interest to work in India.
As you know that I have my roots in India and I did my school education in New Delhi, India as well. Since I completed my elementary schooling from India, I have good command on Hindi language and well converse with the cultures exists in different states of India. Currently I am working as Senior manager – HR and looking after the recruitments for entire United States for our company. Now new office set-up is being planned, the first thing would probably be required is suitable manpower and I believe that I can utilize my HR experience and local knowledge in forming new team.
If company is not planning to recruit HR people initially then I can work in other profile too. Do you have any information about type of work and roles which management has decided to start with? If I get this information, I may plan additional training in order to match the requirements for work.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Best Regards,
Pomp
