I am writing to inform you that I am unable to enroll the course that the admission recommended.
I would like to take COMP 6481 but I have been told that the course is full and the admission office recommends me to take the other course, SOEN 6681. The reason why I would like to take COMP 6481 is that I would like to learn some advance database knowledge which is an asset for me to succeed in future job interviews.
SOEN 6681, offered by the admission office, is also a fun class, but the class concentrates in software development. I want to work as a database engineer once I graduate. Therefore, I really need to take COMP 6481 as this is my last semester. I hope you could understand my situation.
