I am writing this letter to raise my concern about the disturbance being caused by an on-going repair in my locality.
My name is Jonathon and I reside on the Mitchell road. I moved here recently, attracted by the location. However, the local community hall near my home is currently undergoing some reconstruction. As a part of it, the workers are drilling the old concrete building, which is creating a lot of noise pollution. Most of the work is being carried out during evenings, which is when I return from my office. Sometimes, the work continues until midnight and we find it tough to sleep peacefully.
So, kindly try to change the schedule of this work to a different time period. I think 8 AM to 5 PM better suits the situation, as most of us in this area attend office during those hours. Additionally, children too would find it easy to concentrate on their studies in a silent environment. I hope you will look in to this matter seriously.
