A local college is having an international day. You want to speak about your country to students from different cultures.
Write a letter to the college head. In your letter:
Tell him/her about the topics that you are going to talk about
Explain why would they be of interest to the students
Ask about any arrangements that you need to make to give the talk
Hello Sir or Madam,
I am writing this email in reference to the international day going to be celebrated in your college. I am keen interested in attending this event plus want to address the students and would like to talk about the the technology being used in IT industries.
I believe this is a good chance to interact with number of students and let them know about the latest technologies being out there in market. With this I would also like to briefly introduced them with few of the latest languages being used in the IT companies which could definitely help them in their future career.
I would just require a projector and good sound system to be in place and laptop I can carry mine. If you feel this session can benefit your students do let me know.
I look forward to hear from you. Please do not hesitate to give me a call at 98765 should you have any questions.
Your faithfully
Monika Goswami
