Nowadays environmental problems are too big to be managed by individual persons or individual countries. In other words, it is an international problem. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
In today’s world, environmental issues have become too complicated. Therefore, an international collaboration is needed to tackle this vital issue that affects every living creature on our planet, because the effort that has been made by many organizations and societies is considered to be insufficient and ineffective.
Many of these environmental distributions affect us on a daily basis. For example, global warming that is caused by the constant and unprecedented increase of carbon dioxide gas in the atmosphere, which has resulted in a persistent increase of the earth’s temperature. Hence, climate change has become an obvious phenomenon all over the globe. Many consequences have taken place such as raising level of seashores in many countries, melting of icebergs in the poles, droughts and famines.
Onather crucial environmental problem is pollution of the oceans by plastic trash and ships’ remnants that has resulted in death and extinction of many sea creatures that ate or influenced by the invasion of the trash to their natural environment. Also, there are many concerns about overfishing and it’s impact on the marine life, particularly ; after a great deal of decreasing in numbers of many kinds of fish has been observed.
In the last two centuries, Industrial and technological revolutions have been one of the main factors in increasing pollution that has led to major imbalance of the ecosystem of our marvellous planet. In my opinion, a strong and immediate international association is required, in order to come up with practical solutions and set up effective regulations that should help in reducing all form of pollution. Moreover, raising awareness campaigns must be established worldwide to inform people about the importance of regaining the balance of our planet’s ecosystem and make the earth a better place to live on.
