On a recent holiday, you lost a valuable item. Fortunately, you have travel insurance to cover the costs. Write a letter to the manager of your insurance company. In your letter:
describe the item you lost
explain how you lost it
tell the insurance company what you would like them to do
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to report the loss of my smartphone on my vacation in London. Thankfully, I have secured it at your insurance company.
This smartphone was bought a week before the trip. It was a brand new MI4. This model is quite expensive so you can imagine how stressed and upset I was when I realized that it was gone. I suspect that I forgot the phone in one of the countless bars I visited on 22nd of July. However, it could be stolen that day. I reported to the police next day, but, unfortunately they were not able to help.
I would like to obtain the full cost of my phone. Therefore, I am attaching to this letter the bill for this smartphone with all necessary details about the purchase and filled insurance application. Another necessary information is my client number. It is 500023. I would be grateful if you could consider my issue as soon as possible.Thank you for your time and consideration.
I am looking forward to hearing from you soon.
Your faithfully,
Tim Sin
