Dear Sir/Madam,
I, Divyasree, am having travel insurance at Birla Insurance Company for four years. I am writing this letter to let you know about the laptop which I lost during my recent plane journey from Mumbai to Bangalore on 24th September 2019.
In detail, I purchased a silver Lenovo laptop with 32 inches and 18 GB RAM Processor, 2019 version in January from Croma Store, Hyderabad with INR 69,890. They had given me a guarantee and warranty card along with it, which was insured the next week at your main branch.
The incident occurred when an old man sitting beside me asked about the details of the laptop and I let him know about the latest features and price. During my departure at the airport, I found that my laptop was missing and I searched for it for more than an hour, which was in vain.
However, as per the insurance policy, it covers the cost of any lost item during the travel. Hence, I request you to approve my claim and compensate for the money. I am attaching a copy of the receipt with this letter.
I look forward to your favorable response.
Yours faithfully,
Divyasree
