Dear Sir or Madam,
My name is Abigail, and I am writing you this letter in order to complain about the noise that we have been hearing all day long for two past days. My family and I are staying in the boutique hotel in the building next to the construction work area - we have been here for a couple of days.
We came here to spend our weeks holiday. We did not expect that we would have problems with noise from the neighbourhood. Moreover, after pleasant walking along the streets of this beautiful city, only what we want is a rest. The noise from the heavy machines is causing inconvenience to us, and as a result we are not enjoying our holiday.
I would ask you advise the project team to cancel their night shift and ensure that they minimize any noise from the construction work at least in the morning. I hope the issue will be resolved soon.
