Some people spend a lot of money on tickets to go to sporting or cultural events. Is this good or bad thing.

Undoubtedly, Sports and cultural events are the intrinsic part of nation and every civilian shows its diligent interest towards attending them. People spend an extortionate amount of money for watching live events to cherish those for the lifetime. However, some people argue that civilian should not invest exorbitantly on buying tickets just for the sake of entertainment, instead this extra amount can be used for other benefits of country. I agree that people should spend reasonably on events and should utilized money worthwhile.

The key reason which discourage the investment of money in big-budget event is that, it encourages the money minded people to take advantage of the tournament or ceremony by raising the price of hotels and transportation, because of which mediocre people cannot afford to attain such event. Moreover it ensue in the emergence of class difference in communities, which indirectly tear apart the nation. For example, in New Year time, there is increase in the price of hotels and transportation in every country that makes it difficult for any mediocre family to go outside and become part of it. Thus overprice event needs to be discouraged, so all people can involve in it and bring togetherness in society.

The other factor is that, the expensive ticket is not contributing in country growth, it only aid money in the organizers account, in spite of investing hefty amount in such event, these money can be donated for health and educational enhancement which will certainly help the nation to grow and achieve great goals.

To conclude, Cultural and sports event bring people together without a doubt, but paying huge amount of money for them cannot be justified, as it castigate the country. Therefore, these amount needs to be regulated so all civilian can afford it and can cherish those event with gratification.
