There is a problem in the road outside your house.
Write a letter to your local Councillor. in your letter
- Introduce yourself
-Explain what the problem is
-Tell the councilor what you would like to be done.
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing to bring to your attention a road maintenance issue just outside my house on North Road where I was living over 10 years.
My name is Ayoub. I have been a resident at number 20 North Road over 10 years, and I have never had a reason to complain to the council before. A problem with the road works closest to my house is noticed recently, and it irritates to all of us who live nearby day-by-day.
However, the road has just been completed by the assign road Contractor, a pothole has appeared on the side of the road. If it rains, the pothole will fill with water and become an invisible danger to the drivers. It is also an eyesore for those who live around.
On several occasions I tried to contact the Council offices, but nothing has been done. I would request that you address this matter personally with the road maintenance department, and that you treat it in priority to get it solved at soonest.
Please let me know with your action.
Yours faithfully,
Ayoub
