Dear Sir,
I am writing to point out some problems regarding the food preparation techniques of our college canteen and would like to suggest few methods to improve its food quality.
Overall, the canteen serves variety of cuisines at reasonable price, and since it is located in the center of the college, students of different departments can access it easily.
Even though the prices are reasonable, the food preparation methods are not hygienic. Firstly, the fruits and vegetables used in the dishes are not washed before being prepared which may cause health related issues among its consumers. Secondly, the chiefs do not wear gloves or caps during cooking. As a consequence, hygiene is greatly compromised and spreadable diseases, such as cough and cold, may be transferred via food items.
I would like to request you to please provide strict guidelines to the chiefs so that they maintain cleanliness during the cooking process which would alleviate the possibility of the widespread of communicable ailments, and the cafeteria consumers can enjoy healthy meals.
