Write a letter to an English speaking friend. In your letter:
• explain why you changed jobs
• describe your new job
• tell him/her your other news
Write at least 150 words.
You do NOT need to write your own addresses.
Begin your letter as follows:
Dear Julia,
Hi, how are how? It has been a long time since we last spoke, I hope you are having a joyous time. I am writing this letter to let you know that I have resigned from my previous company and have started a new job.
My previous job was in a Business Process Outsourcing. It had a very hectic work schedule. It used to take one and half hours to reach to office and the working hours were also very late as a result it affected my social life. Moreover, the pay scale was also very low and the company did not have the policy of either providing promotion or giving a hike in the salary.
I have started my new job in IDFC Mutual Fund. The working hours are very comfortable and flexible and also the office is not very far from my home it just takes 20 minutes to reach there. Furthermore, the salary is very attractive and the company also provide the opportunity of enhancement of career. They also have a trend of appraising the work of the employees yearly with awards.
I have enrolled in MBA course in distance education from Amity University along with my job as this will help to increase my knowledge and skills. Additionally, I am planning to go to visit my parents in Mumbai next month and spend some time with them.
I hope you will take out some of your time to visit me in Canada. Hope to see you soon.
With Love,
Prabhpreet Kaur
