Dear John,
It's been so long since we last met. I hope you and your family are all well! I'm writing this letter to seek your help to raise fund for a charity organization.
This charity organization is Red-Cross, they are saving 3 life in every blood which we donated, however, they now need more fund to support for developing and improving life-style in Africa where belongs to the third-world countries. This fund-raising activity is very meaningful and means a lot to those people who cannot live theirs' normal life as same as us, due to the natural disaster like desertification.
Since, you've been a doctor without borders for a decade and you're very familiar with the difficulties of those people who live in the poor countries. So, you're the best candidate that I can think of so far, and you're exceedingly capable enough to assist us to increase the charity fund.
