Write a letter to a friend to ask for his/her help to collect money for a charity organization. The letter needs to cover the following details:
-Why do you want to collect money for the charity organization
-Ask for your friend to help
-Explain in detail how your friend can help
Dear Ben,
Hope this letter finds you in the pink of your health. it has been a long since we last met. I am writing this letter in reference to ask for your monetary help regarding a charity organisation. Let me explain in detail.
As you are aware, I have been involved in voluntary work with several social organisations from our university days. it not only provides me personal satisfaction but also helps destitute people who are in desperate need. Lately, I have been involved with a foundation “THE CRY” which is a non-government organisation helping orphans in their education. Although, in the past, they had sound financial partners however recently, some of their partners have refused to provide financial aid. Hence, I am taking an initiative to hold a charity event in my locality therefore, would need your help.
Since you are responsible for heading Corporate social responsibility activities within your company which aims to provide financial aid to many non-government organisations. therefore, I would need your assistance to register this organisation and check internally if any monetary aid can be provided within this year.
Looking forward to your response.
Best wishes
Dannis
