Yesterday, while I was doing a search about gene structure on Google for my thesis, a site popped up first on the result pages, saying that it allows user to analyze their genetic origins just by uploading their facial image. It must be reliable as it is part of a research conducted by the University of Cambridge about using AI technology to identify human genetic traits based on facial features.
The site might be useful for you to learn about your possible genetic heritage. For example, you can learn that you might be 50% African, 40% Asian, and 10% American based on their analysis. Considering that you have always been wondering how mixed you are in terms of races, this could somehow help you a lot in learning more about your origin.
To use the website, you need to visit this link: www.humanface.com; on which you must create your own account. Subsequently, you will be asked to select a picture file on your hard-drive and upload it onto the site. The website will break down your image to pick up details on your face that match with several typical races on Earth. It will then give you a thorough analysis of the proportion of each genetic trait that you have on a scale of 100.
