Dear Ben,
How're you ? I hope you're coping well with the scalding weather of Canada ? Sorry I've not been writing you letter in a while. I've been busy with office chores. Anyway, I'm writing to let you know that the Lagos State governor-elect, his excellency Samson James will be sworn in on the 15th of June 2019, and it will be a fascinating experience if you witness it.
Although I know you dislike an environment consisting of hordes of politicians, I would be happy if you can be kind enough to take part in this ceremony.
Let me tell you more about it. It will be held at the National Stadium in Lagos and will kick off at exactly 12:00 noon. Interestingly, a lot of top politicians will be attending the event. Clearly, it is a big event, therefore, you can be assured of maximum security.
After the event, I have some other plans though. Since you have soft spot for leisure, I would like us to visit some places of interest such as the National Park and Museum. Also, it would be nice to host you at the Golden Bar on the island. We can hang out there and have conversation.
