Writing task 1 (a letter)You found a room at your company office that can be used as a relaxation room. Write a letter to your manager and ask to use it for this purpose. In your letter say– Explain why you suggest this.– Which room is it? Why?– Wha

Dear Sir,

I feel the need to write to you the letter for seeking a small change in the company office which would increase the productivity of all the employees. Allow me to elaborate.

As you are aware that a room is lying locked for almost 2 years and has not been put to any use in the recent past. The room has become a place for insect breeding and has accumulated a lot of filth in the past. I have a suggestion that will prove to be in the interest of the company and which will bolster the confidence of the employees towards the management and increase in productivity. The room should be converted into a relaxation room as it is scientifically proven that offices with relaxation rooms are more productive in comparison to the ones which do not possess one such room.

The room near the staircase on the Second Floor which has been lying locked and it has no mention in the management future plan book to occupy the said room and as such, I feel that it will be the appropriate room to start the relaxation room if the permission is agreed. I can assure you that the decision will gather you a lot of support from the employees in addition to all the support in the past.

I would like to highlight the fact that the room does not need a lot of investment and only cleaning, repainting and installation of lounge chairs which would allow the employees to relax. However, if any other addition is to be made, the employees will contribute to carrying out other ancillary changes. I hope that you will consider the request and decide upon it in a matter of a few days. I am hoping for a prompt reply to the aforementioned request.

Yours sincerely,
Brad Jason
