Dear Igor,
I am writing to express how sorry I am as I will not be able to make it to our theatre plans. Allow me to explain why I am not in a position to do so.
As you know, me and my wife are expecting our first child and the delivery date has been moved up by 2 weeks by the doctor. Due to some impromptu changes in my wife’s body, the doctor stated that she will be kept under observation and if needed she will be operated early next week. I have been shrieking in my head ever since. Also, it hit me yesterday that we had a plan to watch the theatre next week.
However, I would like to tell you that I would have not missed this chance to watch the theatre with you as it will not be happening again for another 2 years in our city, but the situation has constrained me to change the plans. As such, I want you to go ahead and watch it as we had planned and if you want, I can ask a friend of mine to come with you to see it or in the alternative, you can take one of your friends.
I hope you will empathize with me and understand the severity of the issue in my life.
Thanking you,
Brad Jason
