You are bored in your current job but you enjoy working for your company You think you would be happier if you moved to a different department in the same company Write a letter to your employer In the letter ask to be moved to a position in another

Dear Sir or Madam,

I have been working as senior chemical engineer in operations department in your company for 6 years. I am writing this letter to express my interest to work in other departments of our company preferably in technical service team.

My current job is becoming monotonous and it is not having any scope for further innovation. I feel my career is stagnated in the company for the last two years so I am not able provide more value to the company in this role. I would like to take a job change in our organization.

Let me explain the reasons for the job change. As you can see from my attached resume, I am a data scientist and I have completed masters program in data science and machine learning. I have a keen interest in doing data analysis of our company data and provide more useful insights about our company operations to enhance the profitability. I will also get benefited because of the role change by utilizing the growth opportunities in the new department that I would like to move. I would be grateful if I could be considered for the requested job change.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Best regards,
Srinivas Reddy
