Dear Sir,
I am writing in reference to inform you of my unavailability to join as scheduled next week due to some problems. Let me elucidate further.
As you are aware I am currently based in Delhi and needed to relocate to Bangalore last week as agreed during the interview process however there has been an unexpected delay from the mover. The reason being the unavailability of a cargo truck. Although I am pushing the mover not to delay it any further however looking at the present situation I think it will take some more days. Additionally, there have been a few delays from the landlord on termination of my leasing agreement as I am terminating the lease mid-year and need to forfeit my deposit.
While I am making every effort to join next week however due to some procedural delays it doesn't seem possible. Hence I would request you to delay my joining by another week as I would have sorted out my relocation and leasing agreement issue by then.
