Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing this letter to inform you that unfortunately I won't be able to start working in the consensus date due to some issues that happened to me earlier this week, as I supposed to begin my duty on the may 21th, however, my parents have come from Syria to see me after very long time and they will get back home on may 22th.
In fact my parents are visiting Toronto for the first time and they know nothing here. Therefore, I have to assist them during their joureny especially in the last couple of days, henc, they might need to go to the shopping mall to purchase some souvenirs to their fireinds, as both of them didn't speak english at all. Thereafter, I will drop them at the airport and wait them until they ride the plane.
Thus, I would be extremely grateful if it possible for me to start my duty on may 23th instead of 21th, and also you can deduct those 2 days from my holiday allowance if you wish.
And finally I hope that my request does not cause you any inconvenience.
