Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing this letter to inform you that unfortunately I won't be able to start working in the agreed date due to some issues that happened to me earlier this week, as I supposed to begin my duty on the may 21th, however, my parents have come from Syria to see me after very long time and they will get back their homes on may 22th.
In fact my parents are visiting Toronto for the first time and they know nothing here. Moreover, they didn't speak english at all. Therefore, I have to drop them at the airport and waiting them until they ride the plane.
Thus, I would be extremely grateful if it possible for me to start my duty on may 23th instead of 21th, and also you can deduct those 2 days from my holiday allowance if you wish.
And finally I hope that my request does not cause you any inconvenience.
