Dear Mr Williams,
I'm writing to inform you about the recent development in my workplace that will necessitate my discontinuing the dietetics course with you.
Yesterday, I got a letter from the general manager of the company I work for, stating that, as the manager of the procurement department, I am expected to be the last person to leave the office. This is to ensure proper accountability of the company's assets.
The implication of this recent development is that my closing time, which was initially 4:00pm, will now be 6:00pm and considering that my classes with you are usually from 5:00pm, I realise that continuing the training could create a huge problem.
Even though the time I spent under your tutelage was short, it was worth it, and I will put into good use the much I've learnt already. I will also try my best to keep in touch with you while I hope for a better work arrangement that would afford me the opportunity to continue with the course.
