You are studying in a large town where there are no leisure facilities for young people. Write a letter to the local council. In your letter:
Describe the problem
Make some suggestions for leisure facilities
Say why you think that these facilities will make the town a better place.
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing to suggest that the local authorities should construct a leisure complex where children will be able to play sports and meet up.
In our community, the youth find difficulty engaging in regular exercise or playing sports due to no leisure centre in the neighborhood. Therefore, a study conducted by a local university in 2017 showed that more than 50% of students in our town faced health problems and low endurance.
I would like to make a suggestion that the council should fund for leisure facilities in the near future, such as a swimming pool or a basketball ground. I think that the buildings should be located next public schools and the central park in the downtown.
This would encourage adolescents to do exercise and take part in sports on a regular basis. thus, the community can develop a healthy lifestyle in the teenagers and raise the public awareness about working out regularly.
I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Kind regards,
Khang Do.
