Dear Sir,
I am writing this letter to request extension for submission of my project as last date of submission has past few days ago.
I am Steve, student of first semester of your commerce class, having roll number 328. The topic of the project which I was given is Preparation of Balance Sheet, which is one of the toughest assignments, but put all efforts to get it complete on time.
I took two days leave in order to complete the task on time, but I met with an accident. Due to such uncertain circumstances, I could not complete the assignment on time.
However, if you grant me an extension, I will submit this at the earliest. I hereby request you to give me five more days so that I can work on it and hand over the project.
I will be waiting for a positive response from your side.
