Dear Sir,
I am writing this letter to request an extension for submission of my project as the last date of submission has passed a few days ago.
I am Steve, a second year of your commerce class, having enrollment ID S2658. Firstly, I was given an assignment on the preparation of Balance-Sheet which is quite difficult to complete, however I put all my efforts to get it completed on time.
Firstly, I took three days leave in order to complete the task on time, but I met with an accident last week. Due to such uncertain circumstances, I was not able to devote my time on the project.
Although the deadline for the submission is over, I need extra time to finish the given task. Therefore, I hereby request you to give me five more days so that I can work on it and hand over the project.
I will be waiting for a positive response from your side.
