Dear Sir/Madam
I am writing this letter to bring to your notice our disdain we the residents of osuma community have towards the expansion of the BRT Airport . Firstly, osuma community is located at about 15km from the airport so the noise from the arrival and departure of aeroplanes disturbs us the residents of the area and also the honk from numerous cars, we barely experience peace and quiet as a result of this. In addition, at night we experience vibrations like that of an earthquake whenever a flight arrives, more than one flight arrives every night thereby keeping us awake all through the night and restless during the day.
Expanding the airport will lead to an increase in not only the noise from the cars and flights but also the vibrations. This will affect the residents negatively rather than the intended.
In conclusion, I appeal to you to use your office to halt this new development, putting into consideration the psychological effect this increase will cause to the inhabitants of the community and also to maintain the peaceful and serene nature of my area.
