Dear Mr. James,
I am writing this letter to request you about the break I need from work for ten days and have some family time.
I am not finding time to spend with children daily because of work pressures. Hence, I would like to plan for a holiday for ten days, as my children have Diwali vacation for a period of fifteen days. To attain the quality time with family in a hectic schedule, I would like to ask you to grant me leave for ten days from 25th October to 5th November. Accordingly, we may book our tickets to Goa.
During my absence, I would guide one of my colleagues to handle the works. In case of emergency in technical issues if any, I will be available on call for the resolutions. I will be communicating through mails only when required.
I would be grateful to you if permission is granted for a period of ten days. As soon as I return I will complete all my jobs at the earliest.
