You forgot a wallet at a friend's place while you were there on the weekend. Write him a letter to ask to return the wallet.
Hi, James
I want to admit, that was the great holiday we just spent together. We played cricket on the beach behind your house, had a great musical night with a bbq. It was like a dream to me and I was not ready to wake up from it on the other day but, work calls every Monday! As I reached my home, I realized that I don’t have a wallet in my pockets.
I searched my bag and tent roll too but, it was nowhere to be found. I guess I left it at your house. You might find it in my room near a bed somewhere. I am sure that I haven’t brought it to the beach so in case you don’t find it in my room; you can search in the hall near the sofa where we sat.
My wallet contains some important documents like driving license, voter ID. Fortunately, I will be not needing them urgently. You will also find some cash in it. Take it out for yourself and transfer the amount to my bank account. I have no worries about it and I trust your judgment. About the wallet, Just send it to my address with our usual bus driver. I will collect it from him on 26th Feb.
Yours truly
Nand
