I am writing to request your kind permission for using one of the available rooms as a relaxation room. As we discussed before, I believe the existence of this kind of space would impact our company's efficiency positively.
To begin with, as you know, there is a great amount of pressure on us, and most of the time we have to work against the clock to meet the numbers of deadlines. Many health problems can be caused by this situation such as lack of sleep or constant tension. Providing employees a space to take a quick rest among their compacted schedule will help them to release stress and being refresh.
The room that I want to suggest is an empty room on the second floor of the engineering department. The main reason for this selection is that this room is big enough and also, has some large windows that cause to have many hours of natural lights. Besides, the location of this room is appropriate and most of the employees are able to reach there in 5 minutes.
In order to make there a suitable place for relaxation, we need to repair it somehow. Walls need to be repaint and the carpet has to be cleaned. Also, it is a great idea to provide some sofas and a coffee maker.
