I hope this letter finds you in the best of spirits. I am writing this letter to inform you about my change in plans to pay a visit to Canada.
It would be wonderful to see you after so long and I really wanted to meet you as much as you do, however, not this time. Hopefully, when you hear my issue you will forgive me.
Although I have arranged everything as per the schedule and I even have a valid visa to travel, I am afraid my trip has to be postponed because of family commitments. My brother was blessed with a baby boy and I have few responsibilities such as receiving guests, purchasing baby essentials, while he occupied with formalities at the hospital.
My visa would be accepted for a couple of years. I have rescheduled my travel to Canada next month and I will stay there for 2 weeks, please do let me know if this works for you. I will find a suitable time for both of us otherwise.
