Dear James,
Hope this letter finds you in good health. I am writing this letter to inform you about the change in dates for my visit to Canada.
this is due to an important upcoming event in the family. my brother is getting married around the same dates as of my visit to canada. this was a quick decision made by both the families and i dont have much say in it. in consideration with the arrangements and prepations that are to be made, i will have to postpone my visit.
i'd like to aplogise to you for the inconvenience this may cause as you must have also made arrangements for my visit and will now have to delay them.
i will now be visiting around end of next month but have not changed my tickets yet. i will be sending you all the updated details soon. i will make sure you have plenty of time to make the arrangements.
