Dear Sam,
Hope this letter finds you hale and hearty. I am aware that you are pretty much interested in current affairs, be it local or international. One political party in my country took the initiative of Billion Tree Tsunami Program (BTTP). Let me enlighten you about the goals and ambitions of the program. My country is one those who are facing environmental challenges. As a proactive measure, the party has initiated this project to battle with the pollution and forthcoming issues intact to it.
There are many cities where people are deprived of clean air and water. By planting trees we can bring drastic changes in our environment and weather. Owing to ozone layer destruction, weather is getting hotter every day and winter span has reduced to couple of months. Before commencing the project, the team had organized awareness roadshows across the country. Fortunately, people have responded very positively to this project and are taking part with great enthusiasm. They have understood the sheer importance and need of massive tree plantation.
I have been a core member of this project cross functional team and had conducted awareness session across the country. I personally feel accomplished and contented that in a way we are contributing to save the planet. Working on this program has been an emotional and amazing journey.
I would like to know your views about this achievement. Looking forward to hear from you soon.
Yours Sincerely,
Lene
