You have just spent a week with a friend on a holiday. When you got home, you realized you had left your wallet there.
Write a letter to your friend. In your letter
- Thank you friend for the holiday.
- Explain that you left your wallet in their house.
- Give them instructions of how to send it back to you
Dear Jenny,
Hope this letter finds you well. I am writning to express my gratitude for welcoming me into your home last week.
You are quite aware that I have been having problems with my grades this past school year and how I am in dire need of a vacation. No words are enough of how thankful I am for you taking days off from work to spend time with me. The last 7 days was amazing and I can't wait for my next holiday with you.
On another note, I accidentally left my purse at the guest room, where I was staying. I placed it at the dresser when I was packing my luggage and forgot to pick it up before I left. Most of its contents are not that important, except for my school ID, which I badly need. I won't be able to enroll this semester if I do not have it with me.
If it's not too much to ask, can you please mail it to me this weekend? I am at 812 W. Fort Worth Apt. 6, East City 75451. You can also contact me for further details at 713-485-7492.
Looking forward to hear from you soon.
Best regards,
Joyce Jabonero
