Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing to you the letter to report an item as missing. Allow me to elaborate.
I have been a frequent user of Virgin Train Services and on 29th June, 2018, I was using the services of your company to travel to Edinburgh Waverley by the 10:15 AM service from London Euston. I was carrying my Nikola XP-181 DSLR Camera which was kept in a Red Jansport Bag. The bag contains my identity card as well.
I was seated in coach 11, sequence no 14. Since, I was running late to catch a connecting train as such I de-boarded the moment train stopped without checking for my belongings. However, I apprehend to have left the bag in the overhead compartment of the seat.
Moreover, I want you to circulate the information of the missing item with the aforementioned description among your staff. As, the camera holds very special place in my life as it belonged to my great grandfather. In addition, I request your company to return the item, in case, it is found and I will be happy to reimburse the money spent on shipping.
I hope for a positive and expeditious reply.
Yours faithfully,
Brad Jason
