Dear Sir/Madam,
I am so sorry to let you know that I have missed a project deadline, resulting in losing one of our important customers.
First of all, I would like to express my sincere apology to what happened. I hope my mistake will not cause much damage to the reputation and credibility of our company.
The reason I missed the deadline was my disorganization. As you know, I had many tasks to complete last Wednesday after we had a meeting with G7. However, I did not make a reminder note to send a confirmation letter to them since everything was finalized. As a result, at the end of the day, I completely forgot about it.
As an administrative assistant, I need to be more organized to accomplish the tasks more carefully. In order to keep track of my daily progress, I will create a to-do list for myself. Also, I will need to clear my emails twice a day to make sure no more deadlines are missed in the future.
Yours faithfully,
Mai Trinh
