Hi Mark,
Hope this letter finds you well. Sorry for not writing for ages. I was very busy due to my office work and seem not got time for myself.

I am writing you to tell you about my new workplace. As you know, I had joined my previous workplace in tough circumstances so I was trying to switch since months and finally I got selected as Manager Databases at multinational company. My previous workplace was very stressful with full of problems and late sittings. As a part, it was less career oriented according to my qualifications and interests. Therefore, I was trying to seek a suitable opportunity, where I can showcase my skills.

My new job is very challenging but quiet interesting. It is career oriented, lots of learning opportunities and have a vision. It also have good pay scale with interesting benefits including vacation packages, where employee can relieve all his tensions. I am responsible to manage all database servers running SQL Server instances. This will surely shape my career path.

I have one more good news for you. I am getting married in next month and you and your family have to attend my wedding. I will send you a card.
Best wishes,
John
