You have recently started work in a new company.
Write a letter to an English-speaking friend. In your letter
• explain why you changed jobs
• describe your new job
• tell him/her your other news
Hi Joanna,
Hope you are doing well. I’m writing to let you know that I’ve commenced to work for a new employer since last week.
I’ve changed my job because the new company agreed to hire me with a raise in salary by 40%. Besides this, they will also provide an accommodation in central London, a car and medical insurance for my entire family. Also, every six months I will be eligible for a break of 30 days.
As a Pay per click executive I have to drive online customers to visit our website and purchase a product. This means, I have to convince potential customers to click on our website link and buy an item. Once a potential customer clicks on the link and completes their customer journey into a sale, a commission triggered to me.
Apart from this, the other news is that, I’m pregnant. My husband was over the moon when I informed him about this last night. Next weekend he has thrown a party for close relatives and friends. I would be grateful if you could join with your hubby.
Hope to see you soon.
Kind regards,
Pearl
