You have seen a job advertised in the newspaper. You want to apply for the job. Write a letter to the manager of the company. In your letter
• Provide information about yourself
• Give details of your previous work experience
• Say why the company should consider you for the job

Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing to apply for a job vacancy advertised in the NEW CITIZEN newspaper on 2nd of August that is available in the structural design department of your company. Please take into account that I am a structural designer having over 5 years of experience and holding a master’s degree in Civil Engineering from the Sharif University of Technology, which is one of the most reputable universities in Iran.
In fact, I have worked for more than 5 years in the VERESK firm before I moved from Iran. At first, I was responsible for inspecting shop drawing featuring connections. In order for my career prospect to enhance, after 2 years, I commenced designing steel structures, albeit with a supervisor. Currently, I have designed roughly 15 residential buildings individually.
Finally, I suppose that it would be a promising collaboration since your company is multinational and I am a persuasive person who can talk to your clients in English fluently. Apart from conscientiousness and punctuality, my letter of recommendation can demonstrate I possess an ability to meet deadlines that is imperative in our profession.
My curriculum vitae is enclosed which can provide you with further information. I hope that I might be granted an interview.
Yours Faithfully,
Shahin Nejati.
