You learnt that there is self-funded vet hospital that cures various illness of animals free of cost. This hospital is struggling to raise funds these days. Write a letter to leading newspaper editor appealing the community for donation.
In your letter
1) Explain the situation
2) Say what actions you would like the newspaper to take
3) Describe negatives to convince the newspaper editor
Dear Sir/Madam
I am writing this letter to appeal to you, to use your place as a newspaper editor to reach out to the community for financial aid, for the vet hospital that tends to animals for free in the coterie. The clinic Is experiencing a major set back as it is a self funded hospital.
Firstly, they have run out of resources and materials such syringes, needles, lancet and drugs. materials needed to fend for the animals. Finally, they are finding it difficult to sustain the clinic like light bill, doctors salary, gas bill are a challenge to pay. I would like the media to publish an article about the hospital, it’s good works over the years and the present situation it is facing presently. So the community can reach out to them with funds, as the community benefits from it.
In conclusion, I wish you consider this plea as no one wants their pets dead as a result of lack of medical care. As it is a delicate issue.
Yours Faithfully,
Janet Jones
