You play a team sport with some friends. Last week a member of the team had an accident and wasn't able to play with you at the weekend. You decide to write to him in the hospital, telling him about the match.

• say how you felt about the match
• ask how he is doing

Dear Joseph,
Hello, how are you? I hope you are feeling much better. I am writing this letter to give you the highlights of the match you missed.
Last Thursday we had a match of football in our college and our entire team was missing you a lot in that match. I would like to give you this exciting news that our team “The Red Dragon” has won the match. Though it was tough as you were not there, but our team members’ hard work and practice gave us the opportunity to bring the trophy in our college.
It was a very exciting match. Both the teams were excellent in their game scoring 2-2 points. In the end there were just 5 minutes left and it was a very tough situation for us to goal and earn one more point. But to our luck Andrew was able to do the goal and we won the match.
I hope you are having a speedy recovery and will soon will be able to join the college. The team is planning to visit you on Friday. I hope it is fine with you.
