You recently bought a piece of equipment for you kitchen but it did not work. You phoned the shop but no action was taken.
Write a letter to the shop manager. In your letter:
1- Describe the problem with the equipment.
2- Explain what happened when you phoned the shop.
3- Say what you would like the manager to do.
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing to report a failure with my new appliance which I bought from your shop located in the city center one week ago.
The device is an electric blender. When I saw your offer on all kitchen items in the shop leaflet, I decided to buy a new blender to my wife. We tried to use it, but the speed switch got stuck and did not return to its original place. I switched off its power supply and tried to fix it without success at the end.
I have tried to call your shop on several occasions to report the problem, but nothing is done towards the problem till date. Customer service department had all details of the blender`s receipt during the last call and advised that problem will be fixed as soon as possible.
I have a warranty clause with your shop, and all faulty items are covered. I would therefore request that you address this matter personally with the customer service department, and that it is treated in priority by them. Either to fix the purchased blender or to send me a replacement.
I look forward to the problem being resolved.
Yours faithfully,
Ayoub
