You recently bought a piece of equipment for your kitchen, but it did not work. You phoned the shop but no action was taken. Write a letter to the shop manager. In your letter
• Describe the problem with the equipment
• Explain what happened when you phone the shop
• Say what you would like the manager to do.
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to complain about the stove that I bought from your shop and the poor service that I received afterward. I would like to either get a reimbursement or replacement of that stove.
I made a purchase on Sunday, August 12th,2019. Since the equipment was bought, it has never worked. Reason justifying its faulty condition is that being not able to produce fire. In addition, upon switching in on, it basically does nothing. Provided this case, there potentially could be two issues. Either, the nozzle is not allowing sufficient gas to pass or, friction is not enough to produce the fire.
I called your shop a week ago and explained the problem in detail. I was promised for a consultant visit to verify the complaint, but still, none of your shop representatives have visited my house, which is quite dissatisfying. Since the product is still under warranty, I demand a replacement for it, and if it is not possible due to any condition in the contract, then I would like to get a complete refund.
Please look into this issue at your earliest. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Yours faithfully,
Tom
