You recently receive a letter from a friend asking for advice about whether to go to the college or to try to get a job. YOu think she should get the job
- say why she would not enjoy going to college
- explain why getting a job is a good idea for her
- suggest types of job that would be suitable for her
Dear Sara,
I hope you are well and sorry that I haven’t written for ages. I was busy working and studying and I couldn’t spare a minute for myself.
As you know I have started to study in Alf University just after finishing the high school and consequently I couldn’t get any job experience in my field which caused me some difficulties. I believe that it would be much better for you to work for a while and after that you will have the chance to continue your education.
By getting an appropriate job you will learn some interpersonal skills such as delegating a task or working in a team that are valuable qualifications for an employee. Furthermore, it will open doors for better job opportunities in the future.
I would suggest you to find a full time job in a café. It makes sense since there isn’t any other café in your neighborhood and in less than 2 years after getting qualified, you can run your own cafe and I am sure that you will make a success out of it.
I hope you can make the best decision.
Best wishes,
Rahi
