Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing to complain about the current condition of the cooling system in the hotel.
I have stayed at Novotel for 2 days, and it would appear that the air conditioner has been broken. I had to open all the windows to get some air circulation, and had a hard time to sleep at night due to the excessively hot and humid weather in Jakarta.
I have informed the receptionist about my issue and requested to change the room. Unfortunately, she said there was no available rooms left due to the high season and promised that the repair service would be carried out immediately. However, until now, the state of my air conditioner has not been improved, which makes me think that the hotel does not care about their customers, and it seems that profit is more importance than customer experience.
Please address the cooling system as a matter of urgency. I suggest that the repair service should be done immediately, and I should receive some forms of compensation. I have tolerated this situation for too long. If not, I am prepared to escalate this issue to a higher authority.
