Dear Sir/Madam,
I, Divyasree, am writing this letter to express my dissatisfaction with the train timings, for which I had to lose the job offer.
To explain in detail, I was supposed to attend the interview at Banjara Hills, Hyderabad on 15th September at 12.30 PM. As I live in Begumpet, we have a local train towards Banjara Hills at 10.50 am, so I took a ticket asking with appropriate train arrival timings. The cashier informed me that there is a train at 11.25 am, so I waited until the time because it hardly takes 25 minutes to my destination on the train.
However, the train did not arrive until 11.45 am, so I inquired about its arrival time again. He confirmed to me that the train is delayed with another half an hour. As I was getting late, I had to leave immediately in a cab. Because I reached late, I was informed that another person was recruited for the position, and I had lost the chance of being a senior faculty member in a lab.
I am really disappointed with the train timings. So, I would like you to take immediate action and implement a system to inform customers in advance of any possible delays so they can plan their journey accordingly.
I look forward to your swift response.
Yours faithfully,
Divyasree Reddy
