You recently went to a concert and thought one of the singers was very good. You want to tell how you feel.
Write a letter to the singer. In your letter:
say how you feel about his/her performance
give details of your music-related activities
explain how you would like him/her to help you with your music-related activities
Dear Mr. Sood,
Last week, I attended the live music show at Electronic City and it was a delightful experience. Personally, I liked your performance the most. I am writing to express my immense satisfaction regarding your music.
For the first time, I went to a live concert and because of your splendid performance, it turned out to be a pleasant experience. The best part of your songs, from my perspective, would be your melodious voice. Moreover, the music and lyrics made it sound even better. In other words, the overall composition of your music was extremely satisfying.
Being a musician myself, I completely understand what amount of effort you have to put to make such songs. Since I am a lyricist as well as a guitarist, I work with some new singers in the music industry. A few days back, I released my first song on YouTube.
However, I have learned from some friends that you support potential singers and organize workshops to identify new talent. I would be grateful if you could help me to acquire some of your talents as you have always been an inspiration to me. I have attached a tape of my song and my music qualifications with this letter.
I hope you will acknowledge my application to participate in your music workshop.
Yours sincerely,
Jaksran Kaur
