Dear Sir,
I am writing this letter to notify you that I will not be able to start with my services in your company from nest week due to some reasons. Let me explain the same in further detail.
I was issued with the offer letter form IDFC Mutual fund for the position as assistant manager and was supposed to start with my services from 20th September next week but due to sudden health issues suffered by my aunt, I will not be able to begin with my job for the date mentioned.
My aunt had an asthma attack yesterday and was admitted in hospital. The doctors have advised her medication and complete bed rest, moreover she has stay away inside her house away from smoke and pollution as this will make her breathing more difficult. Since she has no one to look after her I have to care of her health for a week to ensure that she is improving.
I apologise that my delay in joining the company will cause inconvenience for you. I hope you will understand my situation and will postpone my day of joining to 29th September.
