I am writing to let you know that I am interested in the advanced computer design course offered in your institute. I recently read about it in the local newspaper. While I possess the basic computing knowledge, I am ineligible to apply. I hope you will consider my situation favorably.
Let me explain my situation. I am an arts student without any prior formal computer degree, however I have always had immense interest in coding algorithms and programs. The trouble is that the mandatory elementary course will commence almost 3 months later to my semester break. As such, I am compelled to take up this course.
Would you kindly check if any extraordinary exception could be made to admit me? As long as I know basic computing, catching up to the advance course won't be much of a problem.
