Essay topics:

You work for an international company, and would like to spend six months working in its head office in another country.

Write a letter to your manager. In your letter:

Explain why you want to work in the company’s head office for six months
Say how your work could be done while you are away.
Ask for his/her help in arranging it

Dear Mr. Senthil,
I am writing this letter to express my desire for working at the headquarter of our company in the Netherlands for a short period of six months.

As you are aware, our company is looking for a candidate who can work in the main office for six months. Therefore, I thought I should grab this golden opportunity of working in a different country. In addition to this, by working there, I may enhance my skills and broaden the horizon of my knowledge. I have also heard that our company conducts weekend training sessions which may enhance my product knowledge and required set of skills.

I have already conveyed to Mahesh about the same and he has agreed to take up my all work responsibilities during my absence. Moreover, I will not only stay in touch with my team but will also check my emails daily. If my request for foreign posting is accepted, I will make sure that no work is left pending at my end.

Finally, I would need your assistance in getting approvals for my posting in the Netherlands from competent authorities.

I look forward to your positive reply.

Yours sincerely,
Hero Devrani
